How does the referee score work?

Once the match is over you rate the referee from 1 to 10. The score on the card is the average of every vote cast.

• Voting opens when the match ends and closes 24 hours later.
• A match score is only shown once it has at least 10 votes.
• You get one vote per match and can change it whenever you like; the last one counts.
• Votes are grouped by the club you support, so the referee page shows how each fan base scored them.
• Your score feeds the fan average and the performance list on the referee's page.

Scores come from users only and are not an official assessment.

How Is the Coach Rating Calculated?

For every match, a model sets a performance expectation: the xG level to be expected given the balance of power and match conditions. The coach's match rating is derived from how far the team's actual xG differential deviates from that expectation, converted to a 10-point scale. Performance is measured, not the scoreline.

• Positive xG differential: producing above the expected level
• Defensive efficiency: holding the opponent's xG below expectation
• Context adjustment: away matches and league strength are weighted in
• xG performance below expectation; a red card for the coach lowers the rating

The ranking value is the average of all match ratings in the period. Exact model details and weights are proprietary; the minimum-match threshold is adjustable in the filter.
